Every mattress we haul out of a Lancaster, Palmdale, or Quartz Hill bedroom is technically banned from the curb. LA County code says a mattress or box spring has to be either recycled through the Mattress Recycling Council program or disposed of at a designated facility. Your standard trash pickup won't touch it.
Most folks learn that rule when the curbside truck leaves the mattress behind. We haul it out, quote it flat, and route it to the right place.
How much does mattress removal cost in the Antelope Valley?
One mattress on its own is the Single-Item tier - $99 flat. If you've got a mattress plus a box spring, bed frame, and headboard, it fits the $199 Pickup-Bed tier (our most-booked Special). That covers the mattress and the bedroom pieces going with it.
No weight fee. No "California mattress surcharge" tacked on later. See the tier breakdown for more.
What sizes do you take?
- Twin, Twin XL, Full
- Queen (by far the most common AV haul)
- King and Cal King
- Crib and toddler mattresses
- Air mattresses and memory-foam toppers (these count as accessories)
We haul the box spring with it. We haul the frame with it. We haul a headboard if it's not structural to the wall.
Where does your mattress go?
Clean mattresses in decent shape route to the Mattress Recycling Council drop-off partners in the AV. Foam, fiber, springs, and wood frames get separated - roughly 75% of the material is recyclable. If the mattress is stained, infested, or structurally broken, it routes to the Antelope Valley transfer station. We tell you either way.
The one thing we ask before we pick it up
Bag the mattress if you can. The Home Depot on Avenue I carries clear mattress bags, and they keep dust, fibers, and any lingering critters contained between your bedroom and the recycler. If you don't have one, we can bring one for a small charge. It is not required, but the recyclers prefer it and we'd rather not track bed dust through your hallway.
Same-day mattress pickup across the AV
Book before 11:00 AM and your Lancaster or Palmdale mattress is usually gone the same afternoon. Quartz Hill follows the same cutoff - we route a truck through daily and can reach a 50th West or aqueduct-road address within a few hours.
What about infested mattresses?
We still take them, but tell us on the phone. We bag them at the source so they don't ride in the truck next to other household items, and we route them straight to disposal instead of recycling. There is no upcharge. We need to know before we load.
Book a mattress haul in the AV
Text us a photo of the mattress and any bedroom items going with it. We'll quote flat, set an arrival window, and have the room cleared before dinner. For specific city notes, see Lancaster, Palmdale, or Quartz Hill.
